About
Dustin Alexander III
Author. Songwriter. Screenwriter.
Dustin Alexander III has built a life at the intersection of global enterprise and human storytelling. His executive career spans some of the world's most consequential institutions — Managing Director at The Associated Press in New York City, Chief Operating Officer of the publicly traded United Technology Group in Switzerland, and co-founder of the Global Caribbean Network, which built a submarine fiber optic cable connecting 11 island nations across the Caribbean. This project reduced telecom costs by 98% across the countries.
On September 11, 2001, Dustin was a volunteer responder at the World Trade Center search and rescue. That experience — and a life spent working across cultures and continents — shaped a worldview that now drives his work as founder and President of the Promote Peace Foundation, a nonprofit focused on measurable, sustainable improvements in both negative and positive peace.
Today, Dustin channels that same scope and depth into his creative work. His novels pull readers into adventures spiced with intelligence and wit. His songs are cinematic in scope — built for the listener who thinks. His animated series, Jesus — The After Years, pushes the boundaries of short-form storytelling by masking truth with edge comedy in a "what if" scenario. The through-line across all of it is story: every song has a narrative arc, every book has a soundtrack in his head, every episode started as a lyric or a line of prose.
Dustin holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.S. in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University. He is a member of Rotary International, the Rotary Action Group for Peace, a Paul Harris Society member, and a Graduate of the Positive Peace Academy. He and Elizabeth live, seasonally, between Sint Maarten and Tennessee.
